About Grethekell

Grethekell works out of Miami, FL, painting familiar faces flat and then drawing a black line around them. Acrylic and spray paint, with paint markers for the line work, on canvas, on paper, and on whole walls. Her work has been shown at Red Dot Miami with Perseus Gallery, booth 102.

Subjects run from Frida Kahlo and Salvador Dalí to Benjamin Franklin, Hannibal Lecter and a mylar smiley balloon wired to a working neon sign. She works and signs as Grethekell.
